It is my privilege to welcome you to the Westside School District! The faculty and staff at Westside are a great group of hardworking people who are truly dedicated to ensuring students receive the best education possible.

The district is composed of the Elementary, Grades K-5 which is located at the Hartman campus. This campus is also home to our ABC Preschool Program, for children ages 3-5.

 The High School, Grades 6-12, is located at the Coal Hill campus. Prior to the 2021 school year we transitioned grades 6-8 to our annex building located on the high school grounds to create a middle school atmosphere. This transition has turned out to be a great move for our students. In addition to our core Academic classes the high school campus offers a variety of elective courses and extracurricular activities. One of our newer extracurricular activities is our Trap Shooting Team which consists of two levels, a middle school team and a high school team. The number of active participants in trap has grown tremendously in just a couple of years. Currently under construction is a new shooting area that will be located on Hilltop Road in Coal Hill.

Westside is a Provision II School, which means we provide all students (K-12) a free breakfast and lunch during the school year. The Rockin Rebel, 21st CCLC, program for K-5 students, starts after school, Monday-Thursday on regular school days and ends at 5:30. Since transitioning to a four day school week we also run our Rockin Rebel program on Fridays from 8:00am until 3:00 pm. Rockin Rebels is also available to middle and high school students as peer tutors and volunteers.

Here at Westside we are also a proud partner with our Westside Area Youth Organization (WAYO). We provide our facilities for ballgames and practices and our coaches are actively involved as well.
