Regional Pep Bus Sign Up!
The pep bus is for JC Westside students in grades 9-12th only.
The bus will be leaving the high school by 6:30pm and returning by approximately 11pm. Tip off is at 8:30pm at Hector high school.
The cost is $5 per student to ride the bus, we are limited to the first 45 students who have paid and turned in a permission slip to Mrs. Bartmier by noon Thursday (no refunds).
Tickets to get in the game MUST be purchased online in addition to the cost to ride the bus. There will be teacher chaperones and all proceeds go to support the class of 2023. If you have any questions contact Mrs. Bartmier at sbartmier@westsiderebels.net

Congratulations to our District Runner-Up senior boys basketball team. The Rebels advance to Regional as the two seed. They will face Haas Hall Bentonville next Thursday night at 8:30pm at Hector High school. Hope to see all our Rebel fans come out to support our boys as they compete for a chance to advance to state!
Today in Mrs. Adam's Biology classes students looked at a slide of an onion root tip under a microscope and observed the different stages of mitosis (cell division).

Congratulations to Ethan Williams, AJ Elizondo, Ayla Highfill, Angelina Xiong, and Casey Smallwood for passing their Microsoft Office Specialist - PowerPoint exam today. We are just wrapping up the PowerPoint section of our Survey of Business class and more student will be taking their PowerPoint exam next week. Next we will be moving on to Excel, Mrs. Bartmier's favorite MOS program! Way to go!

The 2A-4 District Tournament begins Monday at Mansfield High School. Make plans to cheer on the Lady Rebels on Monday at 6:30pm and the Rebels on Tuesday at 8pm.
Correction - It is hard to believe but it is almost time for interim grades! Parents/Guardians please make plans to attend Parent/Teacher Conferences next Thursday from 4-7pm. Interim grade reports WILL NOT be sent home with students, they will be handed out at P/T Conferences.

Congratulations to our Middle Level and Senior Level FBLA students who competed at the District event today. 35 students between 7-12 grade competed in various business related events. 29 of those students placed in the top 5 of their category to become a state qualifier. These students will go to Little Rock on April 3-4, 2023 to compete for a chance to go to Nationals in Atlanta, GA this summer.
